Last Day Reflection

1.I learned that you can take a picture of anything and to some one it will be beautiful and that the pictures someone takes explains a lot about them. I also learned how to take pictures at different angles because it can make your picture look more interesting. I also learned to take more than one picture because one might not turn out so then that way you will have a back up picture. And when you work with film not every picture will look good. And lighting is very important when you take pictures. I learned also different settings to use on my camera which helped me a lot because i never had used them before.
2. I learned that I have a creative side, because some times i get so caught up in sports and school that i have no time for creativity, and this class let me find that in my self. And i learned not to procrastinate and wait until the day before photos are do to take them...... not smart on my part.
3. I wish we could have done a seasons project where you go out side and stand in the same spot every day and take pictures of the same thing like a tree and then when a season such as fall is over you can make it a flip book and see what happens to what ever you photographed. so if i did a tree with leaves and in the fall all of the leaves would be falling down and by the end of fall going into winter there will be no more leaves.
4.my biggest struggle was photoshop in the start it took me a long time to get the hang of things but the last month I got really good at it and it took me no time at all to edit photos to their specific criteria because i knew where to find everything. and when we developed film i always forgot to come in and pick up my picture. And i should have had a bigger variety of subjects and gone more places to take pictures.
5. I conquered the alphabet project i thought i would never be able to do it and half way through i just wanted to give up but i didn't and i turned it in and it looked good. I also conquered photoshop, in the end.

light project

I observed my dog, cat, brother, dad. I discovered angles where lights can be to cast a shadow. i struggled with getting my subjects to participate. i had to bribe my dad and brother with money and my dog and cat would not sit still my dog kept chasing his shadows along with my cat. I learned never to use my subjects again ways to make silhouettes  and direct light.if i could have another chance i would probably take a little bit more time and take pictures of more objects.
