Who was Alfred Stieglitz and why is he noteworthy in the history of photography?An American photographer and modern art promoter he has a career of fifty-years in making photography an accepted art form. In addition to his photography, Stieglitz is known for the New York art galleries that he ran in the early part of the 20th century, where he introduced many avant-garde European artists to the U.S. 2. Choose a photograph he made, upload it to your blog, and explain why you chose it as your favorite by him. i chose this photo because i really like the lights at the end of it that are far away and the faint snow tracks down the middle and the way that the trees are different shapes but are close to poking the same.

1. What is a Brownie Camera?The Brownie camera was a simple, black, rectangular box covered in imitation leather with nickeled fittings. To take a picture, all one had to do was hold the camera waist height, aim, and turn a switch. The Brownie camera was only $1.00
2. Who invented it, and when?George Eastman who worked for Kodak Eastman Co. it was invented in the 1900's
3. How did it change society, and of course, the photography world? The Brownie camera was easy enough for any one to take pictures and it led to things like the video camera and it was very cheap and sold for only $1.00.
